- Define the environmental question, the people closest to it, and the evidence needed to explain it accurately.
- Plan interviews and imagery around location access, seasonal conditions, and participant needs.
- Choose field production or a combination of partner footage, local filmmakers, and editorial work.
- Review scientific terminology and claims with your designated subject experts before final delivery.

Ayni Studios’ documentary They Live in Our World was selected to be featured at the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Nature for Life Hub 2024 virtual event.
The film follows orphaned monkeys and their caretakers in the Amazon rainforest. The official Day 3 programme lists the film under “Behavioral Change and Environmental Impact” and credits Ayni Studios.

What makes an environmental film more than beautiful nature footage?
A clear question and a human perspective give the imagery meaning. In The Conservation Diaries, mangrove restoration and citizen science offer specific ways into the wider conservation story. The aim is to connect what people see with what is happening, why it matters, and who is involved.
Do you have experience with conservation organizations?
Yes. The Conservation Diaries was produced with Emirates Nature–WWF and includes films about mangrove restoration and citizen science. Our BCRN film communicates a conservation and humanitarian partnership involving WWF and IFRC. Both projects are available in our portfolio.
Can you film conservation stories across several locations?
We can discuss a combination of field production, existing partner footage, filming kits, and filmmakers in local communities. This can reduce travel while allowing people close to the work to contribute. Access, seasonality, contributor permissions, and consistent capture requirements are part of the plan.
